Shipping Cost & MOQ
Shipping Cost & MOQ – How to Optimize Your Freight Budget
Shipping cost is often a hidden part of your total landed cost. We help you understand how MOQ, volume, and consolidation affect what you pay for freight.

Flexible MOQ – From 500 Units
We understand that not every buyer needs a full container. Our standard MOQ is 500 units per order. You can mix different models within the same container to reach the quantity requirement. For example: 300 high-speed hair dryers + 200 curling irons = 500 units total. This allows you to test multiple products in one shipment without committing to a large volume of a single SKU.
How Shipping Cost Changes with Volume
Freight cost per unit decreases significantly as your order volume increases. Below is a realistic example for sea freight from Shenzhen to US West Coast (Los Angeles) – actual cost depends on current market rates and fuel prices:
500 units (LCL – less than container load): Higher per-unit cost because you share a container with other shippers. Estimated freight cost per unit: $1.50 – $2.50
2,000 units (LCL or small FCL): Per-unit cost starts to drop. Estimated freight cost per unit: $0.80 – $1.20
5,000 – 8,000 units (20FT container): Most cost-efficient. Estimated freight cost per unit: $0.40 – $0.70
10,000+ units (40FT container): Lowest per-unit freight cost. Estimated freight cost per unit: $0.30 – $0.50

Consolidation Options to Save Freight
If your current order volume is below 500 units, or you are not ready for a full LCL shipment, we offer consolidation with other customers' orders (at our warehouse). Your goods will be packed separately but shipped together, reducing your freight cost by 30–50%. The trade-off is a slightly longer wait time – usually an extra 5–10 days until the consolidated container is full. Please ask our sales team if this option is currently available.
Can I Use My Own Freight Forwarder?
Yes. You are welcome to use your own freight forwarder. We will provide all necessary documents (packing list, commercial invoice, and any required certificates) directly to your forwarder. We do not add any handling fee for this.
Air Freight vs. Sea Freight for Bulk Orders
If you need bulk goods urgently, we can also arrange air freight. Cost is significantly higher (approximately 5–8 times sea freight), but delivery time is 5–10 days instead of 25–40 days. Please contact us for a real-time air freight quote.
